From "I Don't Get It" to A1 — O-Level Chemistry Finally Made Clear

Your child's O-Level Chemistry exam is coming. This crash course is their last chance to close the gap. Taught by Tanny — a former MOE secondary school teacher who has helped hundreds of students jump 2-3 grades before O-Levels.

O-Levels Are Coming. Is Your Child Ready?

  • Prelims are around the corner — and Chemistry is dragging their L1R5 down
  • They "kind of understand" in class... but blank out during tests
  • Mole concepts, organic chemistry, electrolysis — it all blurs together
  • They've memorized equations but can't apply them to new questions
  • School teacher rushes through syllabus. No time for questions.

Chemistry isn't hard because the content is hard. It's hard because most students were never taught to see the patterns. They memorize isolated facts instead of understanding how concepts connect. So when the exam throws a slightly different question — they freeze. The O-Level Chemistry paper doesn't test memory. It tests understanding. And understanding can be taught — if there's still time.

What If Chemistry Finally Made Sense?

  • "I've seen this question pattern before"
  • "I know exactly which concept they're testing"
  • "I can work backwards from what they're asking"

That's what happens when they learn from someone who's marked O-Level papers and knows how the exam thinks. Not more memorizing. Not more assessment books. Just clear methods that make Chemistry feel like logic instead of chaos.

Frequently Asked Questions

My child is currently failing Chemistry. Is it too late?

No — but we need to start NOW. Tanny has brought F9 students to B3 in one term, and B4 students to A1. The key is focused, strategic revision — not more hours of the same thing.

Will this overlap with what school is teaching?

This crash course is designed to COMPLEMENT school, not repeat it. We focus on application and exam technique — the parts school doesn't have time for.

My child is "okay" at Chemistry (B3-B4). Is this still useful?

Absolutely. The difference between B3 and A1 isn't content knowledge — it's exam strategy and deep understanding. That's exactly what we teach.

Is this Pure or Combined Chemistry?

This course is for Pure Chemistry students. Combined Chemistry students can still benefit, but some topics won't apply.

What if the class time doesn't work?

Contact us — if there's enough demand, we may open another slot. But currently Thursday 6:30pm is the only Sec 4 Chemistry class.

How many lessons until O-Levels?

Depends on when you join. Ideally, we want at least 10-12 sessions before the O-Levels to cover all key topics and do sufficient practice.

Why online tuition?

Compare: a private tutor costs $70-120/hr, big centres charge $50-80/lesson, and free YouTube gives zero feedback. For $45 you get 1.5 hours of live teaching, all materials, individual feedback, and WhatsApp access to the teacher. Plus you save on transport time and cost.
